- Pop. 99. In Northumberland C. on C. Rd. 9, 2 Ian E of C. Rd. 10, 12 km. NW of Port Hope.
- When the Midland Railway came through in the 1850s, Thomas Campbell owned a grist mill and the station was called Campbell.
- Then for a time the place was called Garden Hill, but in 1916 the railway changed the name to Campbellcroft, the name given to the post office when it opened in 1885.
