Pop. 319. In Eramosa T., Wellington C., at the confluence ofthe Eramosa R. and a branch of the Speed R. on C. Rd. 37, 10 km. NE of Guelph.
David and Aaron Kribbs settled in the early 1840s and built a sawmill and grist mill.
The place was known as Kribb's Mills until 1846 when Adam L. Argo bought the mills, remodelled them and renamed the settlement Eden Mills, likely after the bible's Garden of Eden.
