We had dinner here tonight and enjoyed it very much. We love Brisket Daddy's original restaurant on Hwy 7, so we wanted to check out their Boathouse Cafe as well and try some of the new menu items we saw advertised online. We do not live or vacation at Golden Beach Resort, but were provided quick access at the gate so we could go to the restaurant. I had smoked pulled pork nachos, which were so good, and so huge I had to take over half home with me to enjoy later. My husband thoroughly enjoyed his smoked brisket sandwich and tots. The brisket just melts in your mouth and the tots were very tasty and crispy. Hubby had a craft beer, and I had a fountain pop that they included for free with my meal purchase. What a pleasant surprise! The staff were very friendly and accommodating. We ate inside today, but there were several people enjoying the lovely patio as well. Highly recommend you give this place a try! You will love it!

On our travels we came upon this little gem. The food was great, can sit indoors or out on the patio. Live music acoustic on Wednesdays in Summer from 6 - 9

The food is amazing. They have the nicest staff. Highly recommend. When you walk in you see red but once you calm down 10/10 experience going in there.
Again, highly recommend.

So this is another of those cases where I am probably going to regret telling the truth about this park, because I won't be able to get in again. There is over 400 acres and 2 km of waterfront on the south shore of Rice Lake here, divided between permanent trailer sites, owned and rented cottages, and transient sites. There are about 26 full service grassy mostly level transient sites, with some shade. There are lots of play areas for kids, an adult and a kiddie pool, a beach, a docking area and apparently some world class fishing. Rental cottages are nice looking, owned cottages are very nice looking. Lots of room to roam around, with rental boats, canoes and paddleboards, as well as rental golf carts. The restaurant serves great food, and there is a general store with camping necessities. Friendly people, happy campers, organized activities and room to enjoy it all.

Great spot on Rice Lake! Lots of new cottages have went up since I had been here last! The boat ramp is well maintained and there's lots of dockage for boaters! The Boathouse restaurant has excellent food on the resort site as well! Great facilities with showers, toilets and a great little convenience/souvenir shop.
